Side guide laser cladding
The side guide plate is an important part of hot rolled thick strip production line. At present, the wear of the conventional side guide plate in China is serious, the service life of the bad section is not more than 24h, and it is easy to lead to the phenomenon of steel sticking and tumor, which greatly affects the production efficiency and strip quality. After laser cladding alloy material (optional) on the surface of the side guide plate, the life of the side guide plate after processing is significantly increased, and the production cost is effectively reduced.
Furnace bottom roll laser cladding
As the transmission medium of high temperature slab, the bottom roll of the furnace works in the high temperature environment full of corrosive gas for a long time. The surface of the roller ring in direct contact with the high temperature slab is prone to steel sticking, nodulation, oxidation, corrosion, wear, high temperature creep and other phenomena, especially various quality defects such as pits, scratches and heavy skin on the bottom surface of the slab caused by steel sticking and nodulation. In silicon steel, cold rolled raw materials and other soft steel performance is particularly outstanding. A layer of new material with high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and wear resistance is coated by laser on the surface of the roller ring to avoid the phenomenon of steel sticking, nodding or loose peeling of oxide skin on the surface of the roller ring during the service cycle of the bottom roller, which affects the rolling quality of the slab, and can effectively improve the economic benefit of the production line.
Laser repair/quenching of mill arch
The mill yard is the key equipment in hot rolling machinery. The surface gap caused by corrosion affects the shape control and the product quality greatly. By laser cladding the alloy layer on the mill frame, the original shape can be restored without deformation, and the wear resistance of the mill slide mounting surface can be effectively enhanced and the service life can be extended.
The wear resistance of the lining plate of the mill is improved effectively by quenching the lining plate with laser. The following figure shows the laser hardening of the liner, the hardness is significantly improved before processing, and the surface is not damaged after 3 months of use.
Laser remanufacturing of flat headgear
The main drive system of finishing mill machinery starts and brakes frequently, resulting in short service life of flat head cover and many failures. Laser cladding is used to remanufacture the main drive flat head cover of rolling mill. The results show that the flat head cover with laser cladding has less wear and significantly longer life than the flat head cover without laser cladding.
Long axis laser quenching
The shaft is an important part of the transmission system, and the life of the shaft is significantly improved by laser hardening. The following figure shows the laser quenching of the sprocket shaft, and the hardness is significantly improved after quenching, without deformation.
Roll laser alloying
The roll is the main working part and tool that causes continuous plastic deformation of the metal in the rolling mill. The bad working environment for a long time leads to spalling, cracking and even fracture of the surface. The service life of the roll can be extended effectively by alloying the roll with laser. The following figure shows the alloying treatment of the rod roll by laser, no deformation, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and significant increase in the amount of steel.
